Ingredients
- Almond flour: 185 gr
- Stevia sweetener: 2 packets
- 1 egg
- Melted butter: 1/2 cup (112 ml) (I used “salted” butter)
- Vanilla (optional)
Decoration (optional)
- White chocolate
- Natural beetroot color
How to make
- Put the almond flour in a bowl.
- Add the natural sweetener.
- Mix well.
- Add the egg, the melted butter and (optionally) vanilla.
- Mix everything well.
- Knead the mix into a ball.
- Place it between 2 sheets of parchment paper.
- Roll out the dough into an even layer.
- Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut the dough into pieces.
- Bake at 375 F (175 C) for 7 - 9 minutes.
- Garnish with white chocolate and natural beetroot color.
The cookies are great with a cup of tea, or by adding whipped cream and making a biscuit sandwich!
